New Mexico and Arizona with Tyler :: December 2001/January 2002
The first true journey into the West for me. The trip's purpose was officially to see a New Year's show by Dave Wright in the hippie capital of Southeastern Arizona: Bisbee. We saved a glimpse of White Sands, the majesty of the Gila National Forest, and the mystique of Tuscon and Saguaro, Arizona. A lot of cheap motels, strange encounters, and unsolicited conversations. Standing on a street corner in Bisbee, Arizona while the clock closed down 2001, and the cold wind made everyone scatter.
