Colorado Bend and Enchanted Rock :: January 2003
The desire to hike in Austin. The plan was to also see Lost Maples, but I underestimated the time. Colorado Bend was peaceful, and absolutely definitive of the Hill Country. Enchanted Rock was crowded, but inticing all the same. After a week in Los Angeles surrounded by people, it was good to be anti-social again.
